You can start the ordering process for your .Pro domains in exactly the same way as you would for a .com .net or .co.uk name from Hostway.
This essentially means going through the Hostway orderform, choosing your preferred name and extension - remembering that you will have to start with a Third Level .Pro domain if you do not already own one - as well as providing all necessary information required for verification purposes. The process is summarised below:-
1. Click 'Order Now' and select 'Register New Domain'
2. Having selected your preferred name and extension, you will be asked for information directly associated with the .pro name that will be used as part of the Verification process. This includes the following:-
*Contact Information of the applying registrant
*Type of Profession
*Jurisdiction Country
*Relevant Licensing Authority
*Applicable License Number under which you practice
3. You will then be asked questions related to whether you wish the name to be hosted. You do not have to order hosting at this time.
4. The next step involves providing accurate Contact Information that will be used for the Billing, Administrator, and Techcontact fields associated with your domain. Once again, it is very important that this information is accurate and up-to-date.
5. At this point you will
asked for payment details. Please note that if you select 'Cheque' as your payment method, no registration will proceed until such time as payment has been processed. This is because registrations cannot be cancelled, and are non-refundable.
6. Once the Hostway Billing team have verified that your basic personal details and payment information are correct, your .pro order details are put through the RegistryPro screening process. It is common for this process to take a few days while checks are made. You will only be charged for the cost of your registration (and hosting where applicable) once your application has been approved by RegistryPro. Your order will then be fulfilled, your domain name (s) registered and your SiteControl account details sent to you.
