Estore Amazon has topped a recent list of the most popular ecommerce outlets in the UK.
The quarterly list was compiled by IMRG and Hitwise based on which companies experienced the greatest number of visits in the three months leading up to the end of June.
It retained the number one position after holding it in the first quarter of the year as well.
Argos's online retail outlet was in second place, followed by Play.com and Next.
Amazon had another appearance in the top ten in the form of its US outlet in the number four spot.
There were two new entries in the last quarter - easyJet and Thompson Holidays both made their top ten debuts in tenth and eighth respectively.
This comes after research from eMarketer found that half of the UK population will shop on the internet by 2013.
