Dedicated server providers could benefit as firms look for IT professionals with people skills
More businesses look set to invest in solutions from dedicated server providers after a leading organisation said that employers are demanding IT professionals with people skills.
Peter Wood, a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, said that people looking to work in the industry are more likely to need communication skills as companies seek clear plans of action.
He added that people skills, as well as technical skills, are now crucial for people looking to work in the industry as they explain the benefits of dedicated servers and other solutions to people.
Mr Wood was speaking at Infosecurity Europe, an event that took place at Earls Court in London between April 19th and 21st and one that focused on showcasing the latest IT security solutions to visitors.
He explained that being able to explain the benefits of particular solutions to management is also crucial.
"The ability to present upwards in the hierarchy in order to demonstrate whether a particular solution has merit and budget should be assigned to it or not," he said.
