Twitter provides flexible and cost-effective methods of reaching audiences, expert says
Businesses looking for ways to improve their marketing skills should use Twitter because it provides a flexible, cost-effective method of reaching audiences.
That is according to Tim Gibbon, director of Elemental Communications, said that there are number of ways to make "every post immediately viral".
He added that alternatives, such as Facebook, have made it harder to create, promote and manage competition in regards of marketing.
Earlier this month, Twitter introduced a new dashboard feature to help bring marketers closer to their audience, giving them the gender, location and interests of followers.
Mr Gibbon believes that Twitter is ahead of other social networking sites because "other socially driven resources are taking steps to restrict".
He added: "Given the open nature of Twitter, it is home to a number of popular and established resources that lends itself well to how it works including blogs, Facebook, LinkedIn and a number of other socially enabled technologies."
