Benefits of cloud hosting services are 'well established'
Productivity levels associated with cloud hosting services are "well established at this point", according to an industry expert.
Bruce Hoernecke, president and chief executive officer of BBH Solutions, told thehomeforinnovation.com that cloud services can provide flexibility and give employees access to information regardless of where they are.
Additionally, cloud computing can mean that data is stored in less space off-site and therefore giving more space in the office.
Mr Hoernecke added that cloud computing's versatility can prove beneficial to companies.
"The cloud offers secure and reliable access to your business information and applications from virtually any point on the globe via the internet," he told the news provider.
"Companies that 'enter the cloud' also realise substantial savings on initial hardware investments because they can leverage their provider's existing infrastructure."
Subbu Iyer, senior director of products, application lifecycle management software at Hewlett-Packard, said earlier this month that companies are seeing a lot of opportunity from cloud computing.
