Domain names will become 'profitable faster' if including keyword
Domain names featuring a keyword related to a business will become "profitable faster" because it helps with search engine optimisation.
That is according to Joe Britton, the chief executive officer of Sugar Ventures, who told businessinsider.com that picking a domain name that is relevant to what a company does is crucial.
Furthermore, he added that funny name addresses are "not very practical for building" a website and should therefore be avoided.
Research published by Verisign last week (May 25th) showed that domain name registrations increased in the first quarter of this year as more companies look to market their products.
Mr Britton told the news provider that companies will be at least one step behind by not having a relevant domain name.
"To explain this further, if a user visits Google and types 'play bass guitar', if your domain name is playbassguitar.com, you've succeeded in picking a good relevant domain name for a bass guitar website on the internet," he added.
