Microsoft announces cloud services collaboration with CS2C
Businesses contemplating the adoption of cloud services in order to reduce travel expenses could be interested in a recent announcement from Microsoft.
The IT giant has unveiled a new collaboration scheme with China Standard Software (CS2C) that will develop, market and sell cloud computing solutions in China.
The plans, which were announced yesterday (August 22nd), aim to provide the service across a wide range of industries on both a public and private basis.
As part of the plans, the solutions will be built on Microsoft's Hyper-V Open Cloud infrastructure and feature support to run C2SC NeoKylin Linux Server Products.
Simon Leung, chairman and chief executive of Microsoft's greater China region, said:
"We have come together with CS2C through our shared belief that technology is both a critical mechanism for organisations to realise their potential, as well as a catalyst for innovation and economic growth."
Earlier this year, the organisation announced the availability of Microsoft Office 365, which brings together a number of programs to make communicating with colleagues a simpler exercise.
