Cloud services 'provide greater financial control for businesses'
Businesses that choose to adopt cloud services could benefit from greater efficiency and control over their finances, an expert has suggested.
Andy Horn, general manager of Easynet Connect, urged corporations to take action to acquire the technology in a bid to enjoy a host of associated benefits.
His comments were made after research conducted by iTWire revealed that 67 per cent of IT managers believe that cloud services hold the most promise for delivering value to organisations.
Mr Horn suggested that a well thought-out strategy could see small to medium-sized enterprises enjoy the same success as their larger counterparts using the service.
"The biggest anticipated benefits of moving to the cloud are greater financial control and access to applications that will help enhance business efficiency," he added.
In addition, Mr Horn highlighted the opportunities for home working that are presented with the adoption of cloud services, which means employees are no longer restricted to their offices.
