Video streaming companies 'could make millions'
The increasing popularity of video streaming websites among different types of people and businesses could spell a host of opportunities for international vendors.
According to BBC News, producers could make millions of pounds per month through the use of advertisements that run alongside internet video content.
The popularity of video streaming websites such as YouTube, which draws more than 500 million unique users each month, could result in a surge in revenue for vendors.
Former YouTube executive George Strompolos highlighted the benefits of the online application by saying: "You get not only the creative development and the authenticity of voice you're looking for, but you also get distribution and reach."
The profile of the video streaming sector was recently boosted significantly after YouTube launched a new video editing tool to improve the quality of its content.
Jason Toff, the company's project manager, told CNET that the service would allow users to correct editing problems such as brightness and screen shake.
