Property investors told to purchase domain names
Property investors looking to lease their houses are being told to purchase domain names for their websites.
According to Quest Bulgaria Property and Lifestyle Magazine, by having their own domain name, investors appear more respectable to would-be tenants, particularly when it comes to emails.
"Lots of holidaymakers are put off with email addresses that are from gmail.com or hotmail.com," it explained.
The publication stated further that it is vital that property investors have a presence on the internet, with photographs a crucial part of any website's design.
It said: "The single most important thing which will get your property noticed is photographs."
Investors should look to provide a series of detailed shots of the properties they are putting up for rent and, if they are able to do so, make video content available.
This could help the website to stand out from competitors as not many are using this form of media within the property market at present, the magazine stated.
Alexander Zolotarev wrote for MediaShift Idea Lab this week that the best domain names should "be short and memorable".
