ICM Registry launches .XXX domain name plan
Businesses looking to adopt cloud services in a bid to lower current IT costs could be interested in the latest domain names news.
On Sunday (July 17th), the ICM Registry made the launch plan for .XXX websites available for public consultation.
As part of the document, individuals will be able to view the complete details of the programme through the company's website.
In addition, the new developments include plans to extend the Sunrise A period to allow companies to implement necessary trademarks following strong demand.
ICM Registry's Greg Dumas said: "We are thrilled to extend the Sunrise periods, so that everyone who wants to fully participate in the .XXX launch process has that opportunity."
The company has also unveiled the closing date for the scheme's Founders programme as July 31st and has urged companies hoping to adopt the domain name to take action.
As part of this area, members of the Sponsored Community interested in expanding their brands are able to develop new websites using .XXX.
