Dynamic web site could improve as high-speed rollout continues
More people could be able to purchase items online as the rollout of high-speed broadband continues across the UK.
Clodagh Murphy, the director of Eclipse Internet, which specialises in business solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises, said that small firms will benefit too from the changes.
She believes that the rollout of high-speed internet will help the UK economy grow, giving companies the "tools to compete" and could improve their dynamic web site.
Ms Murphy added that local councils, the government and BT are working on the rollout of fibre optic broadband, especially in the West Country.
"A good example of this can be seen with the rollout in Cornwall – a combination of public and private funding is enabling the rural areas in Cornwall to benefit from faster speeds and the latest technology," she said.
Virgin announced that it has four million households on its 100 Megabit per second internet and could have 13 million by the middle of next year.
