Meet Hostway’s News Editors
Phil Williams, Ecommerce Editor
Phil Williams is our in-house Ecommerce and Security expert, and is responsible for ensuring our Enterprise clients maximise the revenue they make from their day-today hosted business operations, as well as advising on best-practice security. Previously Phil was regional sales manager for a well-known, global security certificate provider, and joined Hostway in 2005.
Henry Thomas, Managed Hosting Quality Assurance Manager
Henry Thomas is one of the original members of the Hostway UK team, and played a key role in establishing the UK arm of Hostway’s Enterprise managed hosting division in 2004. Henry’s wide-ranging role is to ensure we are consistently providing the best all-round service possible, which includes overseeing service delivery in all our main disciplines – from application- database- and general server- management to utility storage, Virtual Private Networks, High Availability Cloud hosting Solutions and high-bandwidth hosting.
Kevin Jenson, Online Marketing Editor
Kevin Jenson is a CIMA qualified IT marketing professional, and has been with Hostway since 2007. Having previously worked agency-side for a number of years, Kevin is ideally placed to advise Hostway clients on how to drive business through their online presence, and he does this by drawing on his expertise in key areas of Search Engine Optimization and website usability.
Judy Gifford, Virtualisation Specialist
Judy Gifford is a VMware Certified Professional with over 8 years experience in the managed hosting industry, having worked for a variety of hosting providers before joining Hostway in 2008. Virtualised hosting environments can be complex to manage and require a significant level of expertise and certification. Judy’s primary role is in designing virtualised architecture that allows our complex hosting customers to benefit from superior levels of agility, performance, scalability, and business continuity.
