IBM launches new decision-making software for business
IBM has launched a new range of decision-making software designed to make data more manageable for professional companies.
The new ILOG range of visualisation and optimisation products is designed to help businesses to make sense of their complex data by highlighting potential outcomes, best-case scenarios and possible schedules.
IBM claims that ILOG's range of diagram, chart and dashboard-based displays will make potentially cumbersome information more digestible, thereby making it easier to make informed decisions.
Nancy Pearson, vice president of BPM, SOA, WebSphere and industry marketing at IBM, said: "IBM ILOG products provide professionals from a range of industries with the critical tools they need to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions, conserve resources and achieve their business objectives."
This comes after the firm earlier this week launched a new internet security solutions package designed to help companies protect their highly sensitive data from the increased threat posed by web application attacks.
