Experts from Microsoft have assured businesses that its new cloud services will offer increased resilience than previously used technology.
According to Register, negative aspects of the Business Productivity Online Suite have been improved as part of the recently launched Office 365.
This comes after office workers were subjected to a series of outages using the new technology's predecessor, with the most recent occurring at the end of June.
"[The] 2010 technology was designed from the ground up to be multi-tenanted … and by the nature that it is designed to work in those environments it will be more resilient," Peter King, Microsoft UK SME cloud lead remarked.
Microsoft Office 365 received more than 200,000 applications from businesses just months after the company announced its launch.
Companies using the technology have reportedly praised its impressive results in increasing productivity and significantly reducing IT costs up to an estimated 50 per cent.
