Nokia Siemens Networks prioritises mobile broadband
Telecoms services provider Nokia Siemens Networks has unveiled plans to focus on mobile broadband in a bid to become an undisputed leader in this area.
As part of its aim to provide the world's most efficient mobile networks, the organisation has confirmed it will devote more time to the technology and improving its services.
Nokia Siemens Networks is also set to maintain its long-term competitiveness while improving profitability in a market that has been affected by the economic struggle.
Additionally, the company will dedicate more attention to customer experience management and services, while strengthening its international delivery system.
"As we look towards the prospect of an independent future, we need to take action now to improve our profitability and cash generation," commented chief executive Rajeev Suri.
This comes after Nokia Siemens Networks announced a collaboration with telecoms giant O2 to provide long-term evolution services on a temporary basis to select users in London.
