As long as the organization provides the service associated with its registration identification, and meets all eligibility requirements outlined in the domain registration agreement, the organization is eligible to register a second-level .pro domain. For example, a customer’s business license states that they retail running shoes will be eligible if they use the .pro domain to sell shoes.

Yes, the Registry will monitor new and renewed .Pro domains to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions of their agreements. You may be required to provide additional information to the Registry in order to activate as well as retain your domain in the future.
If your A/V information does not pass the registry test, you will have an opportunity to resubmit your professional information within a total of 30 days as per the email’s instructions. If satisfactory information is not supplied with 7 days the domain will be deactivated. On the 31st day following the initial request, the domain will be deleted.
Other than renewing your domain when it is close to expiring, registrants are required to agree to the Terms of Use (TOU) annually and to re-verify professional eligibility. Since your professional eligibility information is valid for one year, you will be required to reconfirm that you meet eligibility requirements and agree to the TOU on an annual basis. The Registry, RegistryPro, will send you an email at the end of each year to do so.
